Welcome!

As a sixteen-year-old schoolgirl, I was introduced to the stage when cast in the classic Greek tragedy Elektra. That was the very moment that I fell in love with the spoken word as I lost myself in interpreting classic dialogue to an enthusiastic audience.

My deep love for storytelling began there and then.

Writing and performing for theatre (classics, modern and experimental drama, comedy) became my focus; I took part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with my one-woman show, which was replicated in London’s West End. Writing for the screen was only a natural progression; I began creating scripts for short and feature-length films under the umbrella of my independent production company Storm and Light Pictures.

After completing the Script Editing Course at the Skriva Writing School in Edinburgh, I was hired as a Scriptwriting Tutor at the Open College of the Arts (Open University) and I began working as a freelance script consultant for other writers, supporting them throughout their story-creation process and making their projects industry-ready; amongst my clients, I have the pleasure of working with BAFTA winner and Academy Award nominee Mr Michael Radford (‘1984, ‘Il postino’, ‘The Merchant of Venice’).

At the end of the day, it’s all about words and the worlds they create before our eyes.

My linguistic skills in English and in Italian have also led me to work as a freelance and contracted translator for major international publishers and brands, building a strong portfolio of clients.
